Human Factors in Road Design: A Review of Italian Design Standards

Human Factors are stable psychological, psychophysical, and physiological limits that influence the performance safety of technical systems managed by humans. Roads made for human use, but nowadays not completely on a scale. Many studies demonstrate key factor in accident occurrence thus it is mandatory to consider them definition design standards. This research provides methodological approach reviewing standards based Factors. The methodology identifies which aspects relevant each specific feature. reviewer then able judge if those considered using checklists.
